Dominick Weems Sr. is a Tacoma, Washington native with a deep musical legacy from his family, especially from his late father, Rev. Linton Weems Sr., who ignited his love for music early on. In 2016, he experienced a transformative moment during a retreat in Austin, Texas, where he sensed the profound presence of God, initiating his spiritual journey. This significant experience led him to create his music and ministry, “D. Weems & Encounter,” focused on sharing his spiritual path and inspiring others to seek similar revelations. Dedicated to promoting spiritual growth and community upliftment in the Pacific Northwest, Dominick's vision is “To Turn The Hearts of God’s People Back To Him.” Currently, D. Weems & Encounter is set to launch a new music project called “The Encounter,” aimed at encouraging individuals to uplift Jesus in every earthly encounter, showcasing the journey of walking in God's Divine Purpose.
